Decouvo collects information to provide better services to all our users. For sellers, this includes exact GPS coordinates (kept private), city/country (public), and phone number (kept private for verification). For buyers, we collect IP hashes and session IDs to prevent click fraud.
2. How We Use Information
We use your city and country to populate the Local Feed. Exact GPS coordinates are never shared with buyers. IP hashes are used strictly for security purposes (rate limiting and fraud prevention) and are never stored in plaintext.
3. GDPR & Regional Data Laws
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023), and the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to request an export of your data or request complete account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@decouvo.com.
