Keeping Your Data Safe

Infrastructure Security

Decouvo utilizes enterprise-grade infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Our database access is strictly governed by Row Level Security (RLS) policies.

Payment Security

All payments on Decouvo are processed by trusted third-party payment providers — Stripe, Flutterwave, and MTN Mobile Money. We never store your card numbers, CVV, or mobile money PINs on our servers. Payment details are entered directly on the provider's secure checkout page, which is PCI DSS compliant.

When you add credits to your wallet, the payment provider sends us a confirmation token — not your financial details. This means your sensitive information never touches our infrastructure.

Credit Wallet & Refund Policy

Credits do not expire. Once you add funds to your seller wallet, the balance remains available indefinitely until spent on clicks, boosts, or featured placements.

Refunds: Unused wallet credits are refundable upon request. To request a refund, contact support@decouvo.com with your account email. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Chargebacks: If a chargeback is initiated through your payment provider, the corresponding wallet credits will be reversed and your account may be suspended pending review.

Click Fraud Prevention

We deploy strict anomaly detection, IP rate limiting, and session verification to ensure sellers are only charged for legitimate interactions. Suspicious traffic is immediately isolated from ad cost calculations.

Data Privacy

We comply with GDPR, Nigeria NDPA 2023, Kenya DPA 2019, and Uganda DPPA 2019. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings.

GPS coordinates are stored privately and never shared with other users. Only your city and country are visible on your public profile.

Responsible Disclosure

If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability, we encourage you to report it to security@decouvo.com. We investigate all reports promptly.
